Amanda Tutera, 2009 International Miss Queen of Queens has embraced life from an early age, pursuing a range of interests in art, athletics, and education. Her passions lead her to ranking nationally in two sports, receiving US presidential awards for academic achievement from two administrations, and admissions to her collegiate honors program. She continued to pursue her creative goals San Francisco where she currently manages corporate communications and community outreach for a Fortune 200 company.

While her activities have varied, there has been a common and consistent theme of donating time to help develop the potential of others. As a result, her peers elected her as 4-term president of her student class, as well as of her sorority. She was additionally honored as the best representative of both her high school and her University’s Greek community. On a larger scale, Amanda has received state and congressional recognition for her work benefiting others. She has supported social, civic, and environmental efforts, and currently professionally assists with several organizations that focus on promoting job skills to improve opportunities in the workplace.

In all efforts, Amanda believes that life is best lived with passion, and that experience is made richer when shared with others. By simply sharing your own energy- and light- each of us has the opportunity to positively impact those around us. As Miss Queen of Queens 2009, she hopes to continue to promote this powerful message; both in word and example.
